Down Memory Lane
When I was twelve years old, I was introduced to many stories told. Told through books and various novels. I would stay all night just to finish a 600-page novel. Thanks to my friends, we get to borrow each other’s books and somehow talk about it! That was part of my growing in years but not in other things! (lol) That was besides watching the sitcom of Fran in “The Nanny” where I get to laugh hilariously. Hands down, I’m a fan of Fran Drescher!
Now, I don’t get to do those things often now – read books and watch Fran especially that the episodes have stopped I think. But the memories they embedded in my mind remain vivid as if I was reading or watching again!
What I remember so much is the Little Prince story and I get to remember it through riddle from the middle. If I may borrow her 1 liner quote as used in https://riddlefromthemiddle.com/, “And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
The greatest things in life are those that are not seen but those that are felt – a smile, a hug, a kiss on the forehead… It’s the feeling and the excitement – the joy and the relief after going through tough times. It’s “faith, hope, and love but the greatest of all of these is love” which is my favorite bible verse.
So without further ado, thank you CrushedCaramel and Atara’s Ideas. I’ve made my own tweaking of the three-day quote challenge and was successful in making it a 2 night-quote challenge? I hope you enjoyed reading as I’ve enjoyed writing it for you! Tagging along flying anemone Zy, Ashday of ashdaywilltravel and Sharon, I hope to hear from you.
Nothing else to say but… “Gracias”!
